Green Factory digitizes it operations with Fellowmind
Recognizing the potential of digitalization in the food industry sector, Green Factory decided to opt for Microsoft's cloud-based business solutions. Fellowmind will carry out a comprehensive implementation project for the leading manufacturer of ready-to-eat products in Central and Eastern Europe. The implementation will include Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions, complemented with Aptean's specialist software for the fresh products industry.
Green Factory specializes in convenience goods in the form of fresh, washed, and ready-to-eat vegetables, produced in 5 modern plants located in 4 countries in the CEE region. Since 2006, the company has been consistently expanding its product range with new product lines supplied to the largest retail chains and the HoReCa sector, giving priority to the development of its flagship private label, 'Fit & Easy.'
In addition to Green Factory, the Green Holding Group also includes companies offering complementary services: Primavega (traditional cultivation and sale of unwashed vegetables), Smart Vegetables Innovations (greenhouse hydroponic cultivation), and Green Factory Logistics (domestic logistics). The company decided to address the biggest challenges of its distributed structure by implementing Microsoft and Aptean business solutions in cooperation with Fellowmind's team in Poland.
"At Green Factory, we focus on the Polish market and the expansion in Central and Eastern Europe. We want to maintain our leading position in the region, which obliges us to use innovative tools and be an example for the whole industry. We decided to implement a solution to improve the operations of our company, and in this project, we are supported by Fellowmind. The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and SCM, enriched with Aptean software, enables us, above all, to standardize business processes as well as organize and centralize data management in real-time. At the same time, the key area for us was to develop a reference model that will be the basis for further implementations of the Dynamics 365 system solution in our other companies because, in the future, we want to expand the scope of cooperation," says Michał Wólczyński, Green Factory.
Partnering according to the Connected Company concept
Fellowmind Poland confirms, by taking on the project for Green Factory, that the development of its offering for the food industry is becoming one of the company's strategic priorities. The joint activities with the food manufacturer are also the result of joining forces with Aptean, a leading global provider of solutions for the Food & Beverage sector. The company has met the expectations of the Polish market, which so far has had limited access to such systems.
"At Fellowmind, we believe that the future belongs to digitally developed companies, i.e., organizations adept at identifying new developments, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the world around them, and establishing valuable relationships. Thanks to the cooperation with Green Factory, we will soon significantly influence the image of the Polish food industry. We want to work together for the long term, scaling the solutions we use and supporting strategic customers with a personalized action plan and development directions in line with our Connected Company strategy. Through a coherent combination of opportunities guaranteed by technology with human capital, which is the most valuable resource of any organization, we strive to create companies ready to meet the challenges of today's business environment," says Daniel Olejniczak of Fellowmind Poland.
The cooperation between Green Factory and Fellowmind started in June. Fellowmind Poland is already working on implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and SCM solution and Aptean software, which will soon help the company achieve a competitive advantage in the Polish market and then emphasize its leading position in the CEE region.
